There are plenty of moderate Muslims. There is no such thing as moderate Islam.
Dutch politician Geert Wilders - BBC Radio 4 "The Choice" Aug 5th, 2008
At last BBC Radio 4 has started to discuss subjects that it finds difficult. Maybe it has been prompted by Channel 4 TV to do so. Whatever the reason I welcome this change whereby we can hear some real issues debated.
Geert Wilders, a Dutch politician, gave a clear indication of the damage that Islam is doing to Holland and to many of its adherents in this Radio 4 interview. It should soon be available, for seven days, on the BBC's hear it again page. I would like to encourage everyone, especially our moderate Muslim friends, to listen to this interview while you can. Geert Wilders is a brave man, who will always be under constant threat of death even if he apologises for his film, Fitna.
What goes for Holland, goes for the UK. We ignore this growing threat, to what is left of English society, at our peril.
