I will continue to fight the EU

Fight the EU

OK, so my Portuguese isn't very good, but that was my translation of this phrase, photographed in Lisbon. Sadly ...

as you language experts already know, BabelFish translates the phrase thus. Oh well, it raised my hopes for a moment:

"I will continue the fight"

As China View tells us (who else?):

A pregnant woman attends the Carnation revolution 35th anniversary in Lisbon April 25, 2009. Portugal celebrates on April 25 the Carnation Revolution coup, which put an end to 48 years of dictatorship in 1974. The message reads "I will keep fighting." (Xinhua/Reuters Photo)

We should remember, when discussing the unification of laws throughout the EU, that some EU States were dictatorships until relatively recently.
